Alterna’TV is reinforcing its programming commitment to sports and children’s entertainment with special promotions during the upcoming Expo Canitec, being held 25 through 27 March at Centro Banamex in Mexico City. Collaborating with PXTV, the channel that brings viewers the latest extreme and action sports from throughout the US and Latin America, Alterna’TV will raffle off GoPRO digital cameras. PXTV’s extreme sports athletes are well known for sharing their experiences using these cameras. Lucky Expo Canitec participants can enter the raffle simply by dropping their business card with Alterna’TV’s senior director, Marketing and Distribution, for the United States, Canada and Mexico, Roberto Pérez, and senior Distribution director for Latin America, Leonardo Pinto. Pérez and Pinto will orchestrate the special programming promotions from the Alterna’TV booth (#423) during the Expo’s three days. “We are very excited to represent PXTV here at Canitec. The channel is the preferred destination for extreme sports in the region, and with its recently announced plans to create a studio in Los Angeles to better meet the demands of the growing millennial fan base, we are dedicating ourselves to deliver on PXTV’s promise of providing real-time flexibility to choose and control what they want watch,” said Pérez. Also represented by Alterna’TV is the only dedicated 24/7 motorsports channel in the world today, Motors TV, which has offered a Spanish-language feed for Latin America via Eutelsat America’s EUT 113 satellite since January 2015. TRACE Sports Stars, the first global English-language entertainment channel dedicated to sports celebrities, is also distributed to some of the main pay-TV platforms in Latin America through Alterna’TV. In addition to its sports programming, Alterna’TV is organizing free photos for Canitec attendees with the iconic comic duo Fix & Foxi, who will be on hand to help introduce their new 24/7 children’s entertainment network to Mexico’s media distribution platforms.
